Describe Yourself:
Hmmm…I grew up (a youngest child) in a rather small Canadian town, was a magazine editor in New York City, and have happily settled into suburban living in southern California. Writing is what I always wanted to do: I outlined my first novel when I was eight years old and I never got around to writing any sentences because was too focused naming, and mapping out family trees for, about three hundred characters. Now I put fewer characters into my stories -- makes things easier!
